Newrez Chief Financial Officer Named Philadelphia Business Journal CFO of the Year Honoree

 

Fort Washington, PA— Newrez LLC (“Newrez”, the “Company”), a national mortgage lending and servicing organization, announced today that Cathy Dondzila, the Company’s Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”), has been selected as one of the Philadelphia Business Journal 2021 CFO of the Year honorees.

The award, bestowed annually to financial professionals in the Greater Philadelphia area for outstanding performance in their roles as corporate financial stewards, serves as a testament to Ms. Dondzila’s strategic foresight and leadership over the Company’s finance processes and capabilities.

Since joining Newrez in 2019, Ms. Dondzila has played an integral role in advancing Newrez’s finance procedures and capabilities by enhancing liquidity forecasting, diversifying liquidity sources, and ensuring agreements are appropriately sized for the Company’s current and future growth trajectory. These efforts have supported the growth and expansion of the Newrez platform over the past 18 months.

The Philadelphia Business Journal considered nominations from the local business community within Philadelphia as well as the surrounding counties in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey that comprise Greater Philadelphia. Winners were selected by editors based on criteria including demonstrated contributions to the Company’s growth and/or profitability, strategic thinking related to success in overcoming business challenges and initiatives that strengthened the Company’s market position, contribution to the Company’s reputation, and contributions outside the Company in the community.

All 2021 CFO of the Year honorees, including Ms. Dondzila, will be honored in a virtual award ceremony in late July.
