Baron Silverstein

Baron Silverstein has served as President of Newrez LLC since joining the Company in May 2020. In his role, Mr. Silverstein oversees all origination, servicing, and other enterprise-wide corporate functions. Mr. Silverstein brings over 30 years of industry leadership to Newrez, including senior roles at Bear Stearns, JP Morgan Chase, Merrill Lynch, and Bank of America Securities. Prior to joining Newrez, Baron was Head of Residential Mortgage at Bank of America Securities, where he worked for over 12 years. As head of Residential Mortgage, Mr. Silverstein, was responsible for all mortgage loan activity relating to advisory, securitization, lending, servicing, and due diligence on behalf of the markets business.

Mr. Silverstein received a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University.
