Steven Hochrein

With over 14 years experience in the residential refinance and purchase mortgage industry, Steve joined the Newrez team in the winter of 2007. In a very short time, he became one of the top Loan Officers specializing in refinances for both rate and term and debt consolidation. He has risen to a Sales Manager Position, overseeing a small team of loan officers while continuing to help consumers meet their mortgage refinancing needs. He is very well versed in all aspects of Conventional, FHA, VA and USDA loan programs. He has passed the National Mortgage Licensing Exam as well as being individually licensed in over 40 states along the East Coast. Steve has completed all continuing education courses that are required as part of his licensing. Steve's specialty is always communicating with his borrowers so they understand and are comfortable with every step in the lending process. He believes that it is important to build a relationship for life with all his borrowers. When not spending time with his wife and son, Steve is very involved with his church and community. He loves to spend time with family and friends during his off time.
