Ms. Heastie joined Newrez in 2017 as Human Resources Business Partner within the servicing division. Since her very first day with the Company, Ms. Heastie has demonstrated her commitment to creating a positive impact and a welcoming environment for her co-workers. Named as the Company’s first Chief Diversity Officer in 2020, Ms. Heastie oversees all management trainings, inclusive hiring practices, and ensures that diversity and inclusion are woven into each. Through her vision, Newrez recently launched its inaugural Employee Resource Groups (“ERGs”), which provide a safe and empowering environment for employees to discuss, create, and lead ideas that inspire positive change within Newrez and the communities it serves. As a leader, Ms. Heastie focuses on ensuring every person within the Newrez family feels safe and included in their working environment.
Since joining Newrez in 2019, Ms. Mainardi has made a large impact on the Company. Today, she leads the Company’s largest production channel, and has helped her team to achieve record performance across various metrics over the past year. She brought her team to success in 2020 by initiating various operational and technological advancements that allowed her team to adapt and produce loans more efficiently despite the volatility brought on by Covid-19. Through tremendous efforts and unwavering vision, Ms. Mainardi has consolidated three lending platforms into one while also doubling Newrez’s capacity, reducing turn times and meeting the growing demand of customer intake.
This year marks the 11th year of HousingWire’s Women of Influence Award.
