Justin Taylor

Justin Taylor is Chief People Officer at Newrez, leading the Human Resources function for the company. Since joining Newrez in 2024, Mr. Taylor has focused on fostering a high-performing culture, strengthening talent acquisition and talent development, driving strategic HR initiatives, and supporting the continued growth of one of the country’s leading mortgage companies.

A seasoned HR executive with a proven record of driving organizational excellence and fostering talent development across diverse industries, Mr. Taylor has over two decades of experience and expertise in executive and general compensation, learning and development, talent acquisition, and organizational design. 

Prior to joining Newrez, Mr. Taylor served as CHRO at Bluegreen Vacations, where he helped transform the organization's HR function with a focus on talent development and leadership growth. Previously, he was Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Charming Charlie, where he helped lead a cultural change program. Earlier, Mr. Taylor held senior HR leadership roles at The Body Shop, culminating in his role as International HR Director in London, with responsibility for 17 markets across four continents and 12,000 associates. He began his career in training and development at Cineplex.

Mr. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University in Toronto and is certified as both an LSI Practitioner with Human Synergistics and a DDI program facilitator.
