Gena Coursen

Gena Coursen serves as Chief Administrative Officer for Newrez and is responsible for overseeing the Community Investment Team, Vendor Risk Management, Procurement, Expense Management and Corporate Real Estate functions across the organization.

Ms. Coursen brings 25 years of extensive experience in both the public and private sectors holding senior roles at Black Knight Financial Services; the City of Jacksonville, Florida; and Merrill Lynch. In these capacities, Ms. Coursen was responsible for Compliance, Vendor Management, Risk, Information Technology and financial reporting.

Ms. Coursen received a B.A. from Stetson University and dual Masters Degrees in Business Administration and International Finance from Touro University International (Touro College, New York).
