Brian Woodring

Brian Woodring joined Newrez as CIO in 2025. In this role, he oversees strategy and execution for Digital Products, IT Functions, Data, and AI. Brian brings over 25 years of experience in mortgage technology, including leadership roles at Black Knight (now ICE Mortgage) and Rocket Companies. Prior to joining Newrez, Brian was the head of technology for Rocket Mortgage, where he worked for 7 years. During his career, Brian has been responsible for creating important industry products such as VALERI, MSP, LoanSphere, and Rocket Logic. Brian lives in Detroit Michigan with his wife and four children.
