Steve Mora

Steve has been helping clients with their mortgages since 2003. Being raised in a family of football coaches, he moved around a bit while growing up, and feels this has helped him better understand people as they navigate big life decisions like moving and purchasing a home. He began his career in Santa Monica, CA before moving to Bend in 2006.  He spent 11 years at Wells Fargo Private Mortgage in Bend prior to joining Caliber Home Loans, which switched to its parent company's name, NewRez, in 2023.  He has extensive experience in Jumbo, Conforming and Government financing.  Steve has a passion for helping his clients, new and existing, through the home financing process in a collaborative, transparent process.  He feels it's important to empower the borrower to understand their options and continue to consult with them beyond the loan closing.  Steve is able to help clients up and down the west coast and beyond, whether it be a primary residence, second home, or investment property.  

Steve and his wife Amy have three sons.  He enjoys being a part of such a vibrant and active community and taking advantage of everything Bend has to offer.
