About
An avid snow skier growing up, Nigel raced World Cup for two years and as original member of the U.S. Speed Skiing Team, served on the U.S. Ski Association’s Olympic Committee for Speed Skiing from 1987-89. After retiring from racing, Nigel spent seven years as the COO for two national ski companies. He founded, and later successfully sold, the largest charter snow ski company in Florida.
Nigel entered the mortgage industry in 1997, quickly became nationally recognized, then took successful leadership roles with two publicly traded companies. Passionate about community involvement, Nigel served as Chairman of the Art in Public Places Board for the City of Bonita Springs from 2004 until his election to the City Council in 2022. He served on the Board of Directors for: Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County (12 years), the Amigos Center for Lee and Collier counties (4 years), the former Bonita Springs Chamber of Commerce Foundation and the Board of Directors of the Bonita Springs Center for The Arts. In 2015 he was elected President of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Southwest Florida and served on the Southwest Florida Board of Governors for 6 years. He is an active member of the Bonita-Estero Realtor Board and the Downtown Business Alliance. Nigel received the first Uncommon Friends Foundation Business Ethics Award in 2006. He served as a Team Leader in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life from 2005-2017.
Nigel was elected as Bonita Springs City Councilman in 2022, and also serves as the City liaison to: the Veteran’s Committee, Blue Zone Committee, the Art in Public Places Board and the Lee County Tourist Development Council. He remains an avid snow skier, boater, climber and still loves to travel. Most importantly, he is proud to lead one of the most professional mortgage teams in the South Florida. We’re proud he's on out team – you’ll be glad he’s on yours.
