"James Lahiff worked with me to close our loan. I’m happy to say we completed the process for a 15-year, 3.5% fixed interest, conventional loan and this will save us thousands of dollars in interest on the life of the loan (by paying off the loan in 15 years versus 20 years). My main request was that we did not increase our current monthly mortgage payment in the process and happy to report that it is slightly less than was we were paying to our bank. Sure – we had to get an appraisal completed on the house and there was some out-of-pocket expense by doing this, but I was also able to secure roughly $2,000 cash back on the loan which helped pay for the appraisal and then some.
